INDIANAPOLIS – If the early success of VIFI's EnterpriseManager is any indication, financials are looking for more control over their online solutions. Launched in early August, 10 financials have already signed up for the solution. VIFI's EnterpriseManager is a Web-based management console that allows financials access to real-time bill pay and online banking data to more effectively manage user questions and account management. For example, a member who calls up concerned that a bill pay they initiated has not yet cleared with the creditor can have their question answered by a CU rep with access to EnterpriseManager. In the past the CU would have had to check with VIFI, or the member would have called VIFI directly. "It's really an inside track right into our database. Since it's real-time, members are going to be getting one-call resolution," said Paul Clark, vice president of product delivery for VIFI. Clark said some of the most common member calls regarding online banking/bill pay include a member wanting to know if their bill payment has been sent to a creditor; unlocking a member's account that has been locked due to incorrect user ID or PIN information; and questions regarding account transfers. "A member may have seen money leave their checking account and showing up in their savings account. They had an automatic transfer set up that they forgot about. With this, the CU rep can see directly when the auto transfers were put in place," said Clark. Now a member service rep can handle these calls at the CU. Clark said VIFI is also looking at adding its online brokerage solution to EnterpriseManager, and it can be used as a tool to assist financials in honing their online marketing promotions. The key functions of EnterpriseManager include viewing and searching bill payments and payees; adding and closing bill pay accounts; viewing statements and check images; opening and closing online statement accounts; and accessing user reports.
