Community First Credit Union, Appleton, Wis., has named Joyce Bayer, vice president of branch operations; Carol Steinberg, Lakeport branch manager; Todd Miller senior business lending officer; and Anne Cutts, mortgage loan originator. In addition, CFCU has promoted Jeff Schweitzer to vice president of facilities/purchasing and Kevin Hartz to assistant vice president of branch operations. Melrose Credit Union, Calif., President/CEO Simon Hellerman, has announced he will retire Aug. 28, 2001. Hellerman began employment with MCU in 1978 and under his leadership assets grew to $206 million.
