MADISON, Wis. – The newly formed CUNA Network Services has made a deal with RSM McGladrey to deliver Web compliance services to CUs. According to RSM McGladrey, over 95% of credit union Web sites do not comply with a variety of regulatory requirements. The passage of Gramm Leach Bliley brought with it a host of new privacy requirements for CUs to follow. CUNA Network Services is 40% owned by CUNA Strategic Services. The majority owneris the former Sunstar IP Communications, which changed its name to CNS. CNS is putting a lot of focus on security. It has already partnered with Internet Security Systems and Concentric Security to offer CUs security solutions ranging from risk assessment to systems monitoring.
