GLASTONBURY, Conn. – Core processor Open Solutions Inc. has acquired Connecticut-based Sound Software, a provider of lending management solutions for community financials. Open Solutions will acquire Sound Software for an undisclosed amount of cash and stock. Sound Software will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Open Solutions and operate as a separate business unit. Sound Software will also retain its corporate identity, headquarters and current management. Open Solutions is the provider of the credit union core processing software, The Complete Credit Union Solution. It also offers an e-commerce, Net banking platform known as Open Community Network.
