Mazuma CU expands its field-of-membership

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Mazuma Credit Union, the fifth largest CU in the state with more than $200 million in assets and more than 50,000 members, was approved by the director of credit unions to expand its field-of-membership to serve those people who live or work in Jackson County, Mo. The FOM expansion was effective July 18. With this approval, Mazuma is eligible to serve more than 630,000 residents and employees in Jackson County. Prior to the FOM expansion approval, Mazuma’s FOM included select zip code areas, more than 130 select employee groups, family members of current members, and federal employees.
