Island Federal Credit Union, Hauppauge, N.Y., has awarded $1,000 scholarships to 10 students entering their first year of college. The scholarship recipients are all children or grandchildren of IFCU members. Chartway Federal Credit Union, Virginia Beach, Va., has awarded four $1,500 scholarships to Toskhan Cooper-Shelton; Alexander Comiskey; Eugene Reyes; and Todd Berry. Students were selected based on their work ethic, academic record and community involvement.
