ARVADA, Colo. – The five-member Colorado Financial Services Board unanimously approved the application from Colorado Central Credit Union to expand its field-of-membership to include a geographic community – persons who reside within the City of Arvada. The board scheduled a public hearing for July 13 to consider the application. However, since there were no protests filed against the application by other credit unions or banks, the board waived the public hearing and voted at an open public session that same day. The estimated population of the City of Arvada is 102,153. The FOM expansion for the $63 million CU was effective July 13.
