In addition, Spivey has mentored more than 10 of his employees who are now credit union managers. Volunteering for the past 22 years, Johnson remains very involved with the community and has even served as Mayor Pro-Tem of the Port Neches City Council. During the award ceremony TCUL took the opportunity to induct two new members to the Texas Credit Union Hall of Fame; retired St. Joseph’s Credit Union President/CEO Ruby M. Weinholt, and former Red River Federal Credit Union President/CEO James Chiarizio.
