WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Credit Union Times announces the newest addition to the newspaper’s growing list of correspondents – Jay Miller, Midwest correspondent. Miller has been a news reporter and freelance writer, specializing in business, business history and healthcare finance since 1982. As a staff reporter for Crain’s Cleveland Business, Miller covered several beats such as the legal profession, the savings and loan industry and urban economic development. As a freelancer, his writing has appeared in many publications such as Advertising Age, Investor’s Business Daily, Editor & Publisher, and Managed Healthcare. Since 1993, Miller has been a special correspondent for Reuters, covering general news, business news and local government for the municipal bond desk. Miller is also the recipient of several awards in journalism from the Press Club of Cleveland, All-Ohio Competition, the international Association of Business Communicators/Cleveland; Women in Communications/ Cleveland; and Crain Communications Inc. Eileen Courter, Credit Union Times’ former Midwest correspondent is continuing to write for the newspaper as correspondent-at-large out of Florida.
