MADISON, Wis. – CUNA and De La Rue Cash Systems have extended their long-term relationship to provide money-counting equipment to credit unions, effective July 1, 2001. The new agreement is for three years and provides further improved pricing on some of the most popular coin and currency handling equipment. In addition, De La Rue will take over the billing function from CUNA and bill credit unions directly as part of the new agreement. Credit unions have been able to take advantage of more than $1 million in savings on cash handling equipment since 1988 through CUNA’s relationship with De La Rue.
