MINEOLA, N.Y. – ezTaxReturn's first year partnering with CUs to deliver online tax preparation went well, according to the company, but it wants to add even more value for next year's rush. Credit unions who joined ezTaxReturn's ezAlliance Partnership Program receive free branded e-file Web sites and free marketing and promotional material. Next year credit union members who must make changes to a return they filed online will have the option of an Amended Tax Return online form. There's also a new interactive ElectronicShoeBox feature that will help members determine, calculate and keep track of deductible expenses throughout the year. When they're ready to file their return, they can import these deductions into their applications. ezTaxReturn is also filing 1098 and 1099 forms with the IRS free next year for credit union members.
