FAIRBORN, Ohio – Consumers flocked to Wright-Patt Credit Union for tips from a Consumer Warrior. Wright-Patt CU has recently hosted author/Consumer Warrior Clark Howard’s book signing. “We are committed to educating members by providing opportunities for them to gain financial knowledge,” said Wright-Patt CU Vice President of Business Development Roz Fremder. “We want to continue to enhance the benefits of membership for the communities we serve.” Howard hosts a nationally syndicated talk show, which airs on local News Talk station WHIO weekday afternoons from 3-5 p.m. Over 200 of his listeners stopped by the $634 million credit union’s Gantt Financial Center to meet Howard and ask his advice on a number of consumer issues ranging from retirement planning to handling poor customer service. The question and answer session lasted for nearly two hours and he topped off the evening by autographing copies of his new book, Get Clark Smart . Wright-Patt CU serves nearly 160,000 members.
