HONG KONG – The Asian Credit Union Forum 2001 will be held September 21-22 in Hong Kong. The two-day conference is sponsored by the Association of Asian Credit Unions (ACCU) and hosted by the Credit Union League of Hong Kong. The theme of this year's conference is the "Power of Partnership for Better Community" and coincides with the 30th year anniversary of ASSU. The last time ACCU held a conference in Hong Kong was 1995. Topics will include: Effective Government Relations an Economic and Political Force; Managing Diverse Human Resources for Effective Results; Strategies to Overcome Economic and Social Exclusions; and Product Development and Technology. Side tours have been planned to Shenzhen China, and a visit to the Miniature Scenic Spot window of China's 5000 year history, Hong Kong's Ocean Park & Middle Income, Hong Kong harbour, an antique tram trip, and Lautau Island Monastery.
