I'm not in the practice of writing to reporters about their work, but in this case, congratulations. Sarah Snell Cooke's story on Kathy Thompson, CUNA's senior vice president for compliance and legislative analysis (CU Times, May 23), was well done. I have known and worked with her for some time, and she is one of the most intelligent people I have ever worked with. She is completely dedicated to the movement, and a first class lawyer. Nice job.
