East Lansing, Mich.-based Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) is on a mission to expand west. Its plans, announced last year, involve an aggressive and strategic move to expand its services and brand into Chicagoland.

In this episode of Shared Accounts With CU Times, MSUFCU's newly-named Vice President of Branches – Illinois, Jean Theis joins us for a look inside the credit union's branch expansion strategy.

Theis said she is in the early days of building a team who will be opening a whopping 10 MSUFCU branches in the area by the end of 2024. While she sees the massive challenge ahead of her, she is ready for it!
