Wescom Resources Group said it has invested more than $1.6 million since November in its service bureau for credit unions running the Symitar Episys core platform.

Enhancements include two new IBM servers to support more than 20 service bureau clients with virtualization management, as well as tapeless backup, interactive voice response, enterprise automation and job scheduling software upgrades, said the CUSO for the $2.6 billion Wescom Credit Union in Pasadena, Calif.

"Our latest investments enable us to raise the bar significantly in providing our Service Bureau clients with increased processing speed and capacity, supported by our knowledgeable and professional around-the-clock staff," said WRG President Tim Dolan.
