The $731 million WESTconsin Credit Union of Menomonie, Wis., is now offering mobile banking service to its 67,400 members.
The service is through Intuit Financial Services and includes balances, history, transfers and bill payment for smart phones with Web browsers, and balances and transaction checking through SMS text banking.
"Secure, anytime, anywhere access to someone's financial accounts is a valued convenience for busy lifestyles," said Sheryl Dietrich, the credit union's vice president of financial operations.
The service is available to all WESTconsin members registered with its online banking service.
WESTconsin CU was founded in 1939 and membership is open to anyone who lives or works in the Wisconsin counties of Barron, Buffalo, Burnett, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, St. Croix, Sawyer, Trempealeau and Washburn or the Minnesota counties of Chisago, Dakota, Goodhue and Washington.
