T8 Webware of Cedar Falls, Iowa, is now offering a financial decision support tool that it says aggregates data from unlimited sources and offers it to the consumer through a mobile app.

The Grip solution allows consumers to "understand their money flow simply and without clutter," the company said, and because it does not require integration with the core processing system, can be deployed quickly.

The Website development specialist said Grip is particularly suited for community financial institutions not yet ready or able to offer a native mobile banking application.

The branded service can be downloaded through the Apple App Store or Android Market and is being offered without upfront costs, annual fees or minimum user agreements

"Grip is not just another PFM, but alternatively a tool highly focused on real-time living rather than historical spending. It gives consumers up-to-the-minute access to recent financial activity to better understand their purchasing capabilities," said Wade Arnold, CEO of T8 Webware.

T8 Webware is hosting Grip at its data centers where it now provides Web hosting and mobile tools to more than 250 credit unions and banks.

The new solution was debuted this week at the FinovateFall technology show in New York City.
