Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union,Aberdeen, Md., honored 26 employees of the credit union for theirservice to the credit union at the milestones of 10 through 25years. The ceremony was held at the Richmond Ballroom in Englewood,Md. The credit union believes that its success is incumbent upontheir long-term employees and their dedication to the credit unionand the members that serve in the community. Honored for their 25years of service were, Susan Kemen and Tina Mike. Honored for 20years of service were Lynne MacLeod, Louise Oldland, Barbara Poff,and Janet Self. Honored for 15 years of service were Shawna Barbenand Margaret Halstead. Honored for ten years of service were PaulSlaby, Diedra Blevin, Michele Funk, Claudia Holman, Kirk Ingold,Laurie Klucczynski, Elizabeth Lapointe, Cheryl Narizzano, RobinRemines, Diane Semenkow and Patricia Wackford.

Holy Rosary Credit Union
, Rochester N.H., announced thatErica Tremblay has been awarded employee of the quarter for thefirst quarter of 2009. The award recipient is chosen for theirhonorable qualities and their dedication to the job. Erica hasreceived the award not only for demonstrating those qualities butalso because of her encouraging attitude and assistance in theworkplace. Erica has been with the credit union since 2005 when shestarted as a part-time teller at the Rochester branch. She wasquickly promoted to a full-time position as senior teller of theFarmington branch. Soon after her promotion, Erica expressedinterest in the lending aspect of the business and she wastransferred to the mortgage and loan center as the new-loanprocessor.

GFA Federal Credit Union, Gardner
, Mass., recognized HenryRobichaud for his 50 years of service as director of the creditunion. Robichaud had served as director of the credit union since1959. In 2009 he became director emeritus. Over the yearsRobinchaud's service to the credit union can be numericallyquantified. His service includes over 800 board meetings and 5,000hours of commitment. In recognition of his service, he received aproclamation from GFA's Chairman Michael Horrigan as well ascitations from the Massachusetts legislature.

Truliant Federal Credit Union, Winston-Salem,N.C., announced that David Spencer has joined the FinancialAdvisors at Truliances, a subsidiary of Truliant Federal CreditUnion, as its newest financial adviser. Spencer previously servedas financial adviser for AXA Equitable in Charlotte, N.C. Prior tojoining AXA Equitable Financial, Spencer held positions withLinpac/Filmco and the Letica Corp.

Five Star Credit Union
, Dothan, Ala., announced thatBridget Riley has been hired as internal auditor. Riley has 15years of financial industry experience in branch management,business banking, commercial lending and compliance.

El Paso Employees Federal Credit Union
, announced thepromotion of Gloria Guerra to manager of its collectionsdepartment. Guerra joined El Paso last year and brough experiencein collection work in the financial services industry as well asmanagement and customer service. Guerra is a native of El Paso,graduating from El Paso High School and El Paso CommunityCollege.

Florida Commerce Credit Union
, Tallahassee, Fla.,announced that Samantha Strickland was named vice president ofgrowth and brand management. Strickland joined Florida Commerce in1998 as a communications coordinator. She was promoted a year laterto director of marketing. As director of marketing she wasresponsible for developing a new brand identity that increasedmembership over 2005. Strickland oversees all internal and externalcommunications, advertising and promotions, product development,consumer education and community outreach. She chairs the FSU FilmSchool Producers Guild, serves on the board of the Florida CreditUnion League Marketing Council and a graduate of LeadershipTallahassee Class 20. She volunteers with the Junior Achievementprogram, which teaches high school and elementary studentsmarketing and life skills.

KeyPoint Credit Union
, Santa Clara, Calif., announced thatJeff Peabody will serve as its new vice president of marketing,business development and e-services. Peabody will also serve as thepresident of CUSO KeyPoint Financial Services Inc., the whollyowned subsidiary of KeyPoint Credit Union. Peabody brings over 35years financial services industry experience with him. Prior tojoining KeyPoint, he was vice president of marketing and businessdevelopment for CommonWealth Central Credit Union.

Meriwest Credit Union
, San Jose, Calif., announced thatJulie Kirsch, the chief operating officer of the credit union, hasbeen elected to the board of Meriwest Mortgage, a subsidiary ofMeriwest Credit Union. Kirsch has been elected to serve as thecorporate secretary to the organization. Kirsch has served MeriwestCredit Union in various capacities since she joined in 1991 toserve as vice president of marketing. Kirsch was promoted to chiefoperating officer in 1996 and was promoted to executive vicepresident in 2000.

Oregon Employees Federal Credit Union, Salem,Ore., announced that Kent C. White will be the credit union's newpresident/CEO. White brings over 17 years of financial experienceto the credit union. Prior to joining Oregon Employees FederalCredit Union, White was the vice president of marketing at AmplifyFederal Credit Union in Austin, Texas.
